The name Square Box Friends came to me one day as I sat at my computer and thought about all the on line friends I have made through the years, I thought to myself
you know almost all my friends are inside that square box sitting in front of me, I actually created it in 2000 when chat rooms and forum boards like this were very popular on the internet. After the death of my son in 2008 I lost interest in it and closed it down, that was about the same time that face book, twitter, instagram and other social media sites were coming on line and led to the decline of this type of board.
It's a place where friends can come and chat with each other, play a few simple games, swap idea's, home and family advice, and also make new friends. There are
several places ready now and I will be adding more as we gain new members. Please invite your friends to join also. If there is enough interest with members in the future I plan to organize something like a Christmas card, birthday card, coupon exchange, maybe have an inexpensive secret pal exchange, drawing for cheap dollar store items etc
