Hi all. I was out of town since Friday morning. Had to help clear out my in-law's place and then we went to my mother-in-law's grave. I am not doing a thing today. Just sitting around. Don't feel so great and hurt my back yesterday, so I'm just being a couch potato.

Morning. I slept much better last night and feel good today. My back is not hurting.
It snowed again, so hubby is unable to work. He works in environmental services/landscaping and can't work when there's snow on the ground.
I'll be working on the job hunt today.

Tanya you must be a coffee person like Linda, I know she like her coffee also I'm a sweet tea person, just misplaced in the North so it's hard to find good tea. I dream of spending time in the kitchen with Aunt Linda right now though. She can have her coffee lol.

Tanya do you need some tea like tea bags ? Lipton, lusannna what brand ? Aunt Linda, I am fine. I use so many different varieties as far as tea goes, and I have quite a collection lol. I make tea on the stove using bags, I use the Keurig, and my all time favorite is Starbucks. I had a kettle but I accidentally melted it lol.

I make mine in an old coffee maker also 2 family size bags and about 6 to 8 cups water in coffee maker, put 2 to 2 1/2 cups sugar in a gallon pitcher or milk jug, pour hot tea in and stir until sugar is melted, finish filling pitcher with cold water and set aside until cool

He wont make tea for me anymore since its such a science for me lol.

I ordered myself about 6 50's era Simplicity Patterns. I got 2 for Charlotte, a Nightgown one, and a couple of Swing Dress Patterns. They were cheap, I'm excited, but I may have gotten in over my head lol. Andy has agreed to a 50's era outfit if I do our dresses, and we are only dreaming of a 50's era Sedan, just for the sake of the Local Car Shows. I found a functional 57 Bel Air for $1300 up here. One advantage of long winters and inherited items: Its so easy to find Vintage Items cheap.

are you going to make the dresses yourself ? I am going to try. I've got a few ladies in our church that would help me if need be.
